Scott is a photographer, videographer, and sound recordist who finds meaning in quiet details and unexpected moments. His creative work is rooted in curiosity about people, places, and the way light, sound, and story can come together to reveal something honest.

Growing up on the South Plains of West Texas, where his family settled when he was young, had an impact on how he views the world. Scott went on to attend Texas Tech University and later moved to Fort Worth for law school. He's lived there ever since, building a whole life alongside his wife, children, and grandchildren.

Photography was something that he always enjoyed, but it didn't become an overwhelming passion until later in his life. What started with a camera evolved into a broader exploration of image-making and audio field recording. These tools help him notice and preserve the things many people may overlook.

Scott has always felt most grounded when he's outside, walking somewhere new without a plan, just paying attention to his surroundings. That instinct has led him to travel across the country, following his interest in landscapes, light, and the human stories tucked within them. His work is less about spectacle and more about presence - being there, listening, and capturing something real.
